Solution

Embrionic designed and delivered a solution based on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Hyper-V to overcome the challenges that incorporated:

  • Windows Server 2008 DataCenter Edition Implemented with Hyper-V Role Installed.

  • iSCSI Storage Area Network Implemented to provide storage for Virtual Machines based on Dell MD3000i hardware.

  • Resilient iSCSI network implemented allowing failure of network interface, network cable, network port.

  • Migration of VMWare Server and Virtual Server 2005 virtual machines to Hyper-V

  • Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 used to backup Virtual Machines.
